But I am more than just credentials; I have navigated many intense and difficult challenges in my own life that have shaped every facet of who I am and how I approach my practice - from living through and learning to cope with the impacts of traumatic grief and loss to managing life with chronic illness.

I know firsthand the importance of having a safe and non-judgmental space to process through thoughts and feelings openly.

I want to empower you as you embark on your unique journey of self-discovery, growth, and healing.

With both my personal and professional background, I bring a unique understanding and empathy to my counseling practice. I view mental health through a holistic and inclusive lens, recognizing the interconnectedness of physical and emotional well-being.  I see myself as not just a counselor, but a guide and companion on your journey.

Personal Facts

I’m a strong believer in unapologetically enjoying what I like, no matter how absurd I might look.

I’ve been skydiving and loved it, even though I don’t like heights.

I’ve been a roadie for major musical acts until an injury permanently left a small piece of me behind in what is now Dickie’s Arena in Fort Worth.

I’m from Colorado and while my life is in Texas, a part of my heart will always be in the mountains.

I’m the proudest mother ever of my two incredible children—one of whom is transgender and one who lives with Tourette’s syndrome. Their unique journeys have deepened my empathy, broadened my perspective, and continue to inspire me every day.
